DaBaby’s ‘Rockstar’ Rules Billboard’s Songs Of The Summer Chart For 8th Week

DaBaby‘s “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch, has extended its reign atop the Billboard‘s Songs of the Summer chart to an eighth consecutive week, topping the list dated August 8.

The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights,” Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé, and Jack Harlow‘s “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne, remain at No. 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

Saint Hjn‘s “Roses” has moved up a place to No. 5, getting into the top bracket for the first time.

The 20-position Songs of the Summer running tally tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 6 through Sept. 5). At the end of the season, the top song of the summer will be revealed.

On the Hot 100 chart, “Rockstar,” which stayed at the top for seven weeks, has slipped to No. 2, with Taylor Swift‘s “Cardigan” debuting at No. 1.
