The Nestlé company, maker of the Kit Kat Candy Bar filed a lawsuit against their competitor, Cadbury for copying their wafer mold. Nestlé has been fighting Cadbury for over a decade on whether or not they should have an official trademark for their four-fingered wafer shaped candy mold. It was determined today that there will not be a trademark registered with Nestlé for the wafer mold, since it considered to be a simple non-destinctive design. Check out the details below.
